Turn a recorded transaction into a clear document

Create a PDF Without Typing the Sale Again

Salelog can prepare a commercial PDF from the recorded transaction, including applicable items, quantities, prices and totals. Download it and use available sharing or printing options.

Review the source operation first; correct the sale before producing an updated file.

Use a representative test sale and inspect every field before sharing the PDF.

  1. Reuse transaction data instead of entering it twice.

  2. Download a PDF for digital sharing or archive.

  3. Choose A4, 58 mm or 80 mm presentation.

Source the document from the transaction

Typing a second document after the sale creates another opportunity for a product name, price or quantity to differ. Generating the PDF from the record reduces duplication, provided that the original operation is accurate.

Review customer, items, units, prices, discounts, tax settings and total first. If any detail changes, correct the record and generate a new file.

Select the layout by use

A4 provides space for detail and conventional filing. The compact 58 mm and 80 mm layouts suit common paper widths but have less room for long names. Test the normal number of lines rather than a single perfect product.

Send deliberately

The downloaded PDF can be opened, stored or shared through apps on the device. The user selects the recipient and performs the send. This explicit step avoids an application unexpectedly messaging a customer.

After a correction, identify the new file and avoid leaving multiple contradictory copies in use.

Digital and paper both have a place

A digital document can reduce paper and remain searchable. A compact print may still suit a market or counter. Let the customer and operating context determine the channel, then test readability and margins on actual equipment.
