Keep a customer’s enquiry separate from your takings
A shop customer asks for a price on a mixed order, or a trade customer wants several items from your catalogue. Preparing a quotation lets you set out the quantities and prices without treating the enquiry as a completed sale. Salelog brings that record together with the customer, rather than leaving the details across messages and a spreadsheet.
A quotation, an order and a sale have different jobs
Choose a quotation while presenting an offer. Use a customer order to keep a pending request ready for later. Both can be edited and converted directly into a sale after confirmation; you do not need to pass a quotation through an order first. The resulting sale follows the usual stock and payment checks. This is not a work-order scheduler or a purchase order to a supplier.
Send a document that is easy to check
Create a PDF with your business details and logo. Check the quantities, prices and totals in the preview before sharing it. Set the quotation’s validity separately from your own follow-up reminder. Orders also support a reminder, so pending work need not disappear into a notebook.
