A product catalogue for the next conversation
A small homeware supplier may need to show a café owner several serving bowls before quantities are agreed. Individual attachments are awkward to revisit, and the buyer does not need access to the supplier’s internal stock system. A shared catalogue gives that conversation a single point of reference.
The buyer can compare selected products without creating an account. The page is not an invitation to your organisation and does not show stock quantities or purchase costs. Confirm availability yourself before promising a delivery or recording the sale.
Prepare the range before you publish
- Open Product Catalogue in the mobile app and select the products to include.
- Add a title and description that explain the range.
- Review photographs, price and tax display, and public business contact details.
- Save, synchronise and publish.
- Open the link as a visitor before sending it by email or message.
Team members need the relevant catalogue permissions. A customer with the public link does not gain those editing permissions. Changes saved on your phone must synchronise before visitors can see them; allow a short cache delay before checking an update.
Choose the right document for the job
Use the catalogue when someone is still choosing. Once products, quantities and terms are agreed, a quotation or order PDF records a specific proposal. Salelog does not export the whole catalogue as a PDF or provide a shopping basket, online payment or automatic marketplace listing.
This also means a catalogue is not an EPOS system or a tax-compliant invoice. Its purpose is to present products, not replace specialist checkout or accounting tools.
Keep the link under deliberate control
The published link can be forwarded. Use business contact details and photographs you are happy to share beyond one recipient. Unpublishing stops further access without deleting your work; changing the link replaces the previous address but cannot erase a saved screenshot.
Public catalogue access requires an active Plus or Pro entitlement. The customer pages are not submitted as search-indexed shops, so publishing one is not a promise of traffic from Google.
