A product quote is not a completed sale
A customer asks what twelve mugs and six tote bags will cost. You need a clear offer, not a sale that reduces your inventory before the customer decides. In Salelog, choose a quote, add the customer and catalog items, then review quantities, prices and validity. Use a customer order when you want to keep a pending purchase request on file.
From a price request to a sale
Open the record to edit it when quantities change. Share a branded PDF through your device’s sharing options; sending a PDF is not an electronic acceptance or payment collection flow. When you are ready, select conversion and confirm. Salelog applies the normal sale rules, including stock checks. An order is not a supplier purchase order, shipping job or stock reservation.
Follow up before the offer expires
Quote validity answers how long the offer is intended to remain available. A personal reminder answers when you want to revisit it. Pick these separately: for example, three days of validity and a reminder tomorrow. Orders can have reminders too, without a quotation expiry.
